About FDXM Workshop

IIT Bombay, in collaboration with ZEISS, is organising a three-day workshop on applications of Four Dimensional X-ray Microscopy (FDXM) facility at IIT Bombay. The facility has capabilities of visualizing 3D internal structures of products and samples, providing unparalleled details of geometry and phase distribution with a resolution of 700 nm. This can be used for new product development, reverse engineering, phase identification, internal porosity measurement and quality improvement. The FDXM facility is available to Industry and researchers on a chargeable basis.

This workshop is a three-day event, with the first day being presentations of applications of FDXM followed by two days of live demonstration on your samples. The first day is in hybrid mode with both online and face-to-face presentations. There is no registration fee to attend the workshop or for FDXM imaging of your samples; however, registration is mandatory Click Here. To perform the free live demonstration on your samples, you need to send your samples in advance using the link. Since the number of FDXM imaging slots are limited, the booking of slots are on a first-cum-first serve basis. Moreover, each participant is allowed to bring only one sample for the FDXM imaging.
